YOUR ROLE

As Head of Materials & Production, you will assume overall responsibility for the areas of materials management, procurement, logistics, and production. You will continuously develop and optimize the entire value chain, ensuring efficient, stable, and future-oriented processes together with your team.

As a member of our extended management team, you will develop cross-functional strategies, drive operational excellence, and actively shape the future development of our company. You combine strategic vision with pragmatic execution and a strong focus on measurable results.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES


  • You lead, develop, and motivate the teams in procurement, logistics, warehousing, and production, both professionally and disciplinarily.
  • You manage and optimize material supply, production processes, and internal workflows.
  • You further develop the procurement strategy, optimize sourcing processes, and establish sustainable supplier relationships both domestically and internationally.
  • You ensure cost-efficient, on-time, and quality-oriented supply and production operations.
  • You drive the digitalization, automation, and standardization of processes, as well as the implementation and further development of ERP solutions.
  • You establish a professional KPI management framework as part of the Balanced Scorecard process, identify improvement opportunities, and lead continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.
  • You are responsible for budget, resource, and investment planning within your area.
  • You collaborate closely with Quality, Engineering, and Finance to foster efficient cross-functional cooperation.
  • You shape the further development of our Supply Chain with a focus on efficiency, resilience, and sustainable growth.

YOUR PROFILE

  • You have successfully completed a degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a comparable field.
  • You have several years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally with responsibility for procurement, logistics, or materials management.
  • You have proven experience in strategic and operational procurement as well as international supplier management.
  • You possess a strong understanding of sourcing processes, production operations, warehouse management, and material flows.
  • You demonstrate strong negotiation and communication skills as well as confidence in contract management.
  • You have excellent knowledge of ERP systems and are proficient in using MS Office applications.
  • You stand out through your analytical mindset, entrepreneurial approach, and structured, solution-oriented way of working.
  • You take ownership, initiate change, and demonstrate strong initiative and the ability to drive results.
  • You have excellent written and spoken German and English skills
  • You are willing and able to travel occasionally for business purposes, both domestically and internationally.
